BIFMA has four categories of membership: Regular membership is for companies organized and actively engaged in the manufacture of business or institutional furniture in North America. Regular membership dues are based on a manufacturer's annual sales of business and institutional furniture. Supplier membership is for any North American-based material supplier to manufacturers of business and institutional furniture. Annual dues for supplier members are based on annual sales to the manufacturers. Service membership is for a North American-based service provider (test labs, investment bankers, research companies, etc.). Annual dues for service members are a set annual fee not based on company sales volume. International membership is for any person, partnership or corporation engaged in the manufacture of, or international commerce in, business or institutional furniture other than those qualified for regular or supplier/service membership. International membership dues are a set annual fee not based on company sales volume.
