9/17/03 - Draft Metal Furniture NESHAP Implementation Tools are now available for review. On August 20, 2003, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) held a teleconference with stakeholders, including BIFMA International, to discuss the implementation phase of the Metal Furniture NESHAP (national emission standards for hazardous air pollutants). As a result of this meeting, the EPA agreed to provide drafts of the first implementation tools to the stakeholders for their review and comment. These tools are listed below. All files are in Adobe Acrobat format. EPA is asking that we review the draft tools and provide comments by September 30, 2003, preferably by e-mail to Dr. Mohamed Serageldin <serageldin.mohamed@epa.gov>.
